The terms on which this website is made available.
1. Scope
These terms govern your use of the website at locave.irnas.eu. The website, the LoCave product line and all associated intellectual property are owned by IRNAS Technologies d.o.o., which is also the seller. These terms do not govern the sale itself: a purchase is subject to a separate written agreement, and to the safety and warranty documentation supplied with the equipment.
2. Purpose of the information
The content of this website is provided for general information about the LoCave system. It is not an offer, a quotation, or a commitment to supply, and it does not constitute engineering advice for a specific cave, mine or installation.
3. No published performance figures
This website deliberately publishes no range, data rate, node spacing, coverage or battery-life figure. The two comparative statements it does make — that the line is laid roughly five times faster than conventional cabling, and that the cost is roughly a tenth of an equivalent VHF installation — are indicative comparisons, not specifications, and must not be relied upon as a performance guarantee. Any figure required for planning will be supplied in writing for a specific deployment.
4. Safety and life-safety use
LoCave is a communication system. It supports underground operations and rescue; it does not replace call-out arrangements, agreed return times, self-rescue capability, or the training and judgement of the people underground. It is not a through-the-earth system and provides no link where no cable route exists. No part of this website should be read as authorising reliance on the system as the sole means of raising an alarm, and nothing here relieves an operator of the duty to maintain independent emergency procedures.
5. Intellectual property
The text, illustrations and layout of this website are the property of IRNAS Technologies d.o.o. unless stated otherwise. LoCave and IRNAS are names and marks of IRNAS Technologies d.o.o. and may not be used to imply endorsement or association.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages or unlawful content, and do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this site. We apply rate limiting and may block abusive traffic.
7. External links
This site links to other IRNAS Technologies websites and to external resources such as regulators and standards bodies. We do not control the content of external sites and accept no responsibility for it.
8. Availability
We aim to keep this website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Disputes fall to the competent court in Maribor, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rule that gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The effective date and version at the top of this page show when they last changed.
