The cookies this website uses, and why.
This website uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies. It sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embedded content. Reading a page sets no cookie at all — one appears only when you actively choose a language, use the contact form or sign in as an administrator. Separately from cookies, our web server keeps standard access logs and summarises them into visitor counts on the same server; this is described in the <a href="/privacy">privacy policy</a>.

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device, usually to remember a preference or to keep you signed in between page loads.

Why we do not ask for consent
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested. All three cookies above fall into that category: one records a language you actively chose, one secures a form or an authenticated session, and one simply remembers that you dismissed a notice. We run no advertising and no third-party analytics, so there is nothing in that category for consent to apply to. Our visitor statistics are produced on our own server from its access logs — nothing is stored on or read from your device, which is what Article 5(3) governs, so no consent is required for those either. Should we ever add anything that runs in your browser and tracks you, we would ask for consent first and this page would say so.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them here costs you only the language preference — the rest of the site works normally.
